Tomorrow is my Birthday!! I'll be 19 years old. (Wow that sounds weird). I can remember a lot of things that happened, and can't with others. So figured I'd add a list of things that had happened through my years: 1990- Besides Mikhail S. Gorbachev becoming Pres. of Soviet Congress, well I was born!
1991- The Soviet Union collapses.
1992- Mall of America opens, covering 78 acres.
1993- Andre the Giant dies.
1994- President Nixon dies at age 81 from a stroke.
1995- Oklahoma city bombing.
1996- Blizzard of '96, Northeast is covered with 2-3 feet of snow.
1997- Dolly the "cloned" sheep is born.
1998- 5,000Th episode of "The Price is Right" airs.
1999- Y2K, world is relieved at 12/31/99 at 4 a.m. when Fiji is the first to go into 2000 and none of the computers blow up or anything.
2000- George W. Bush is elected President.
2001- 9-11 attacks rattle the USA.
2002- Congress authorizes attack against Iraq.
2003-Major black out in Northeast.
2004- President Bush re-elected.
2005- Hurricane Katrina strikes New Orleans.
2006- Fidel Castro gives up power to his brother Raul Castro.
2007- Former First lady Claudia "Ladybird" Johnson (President Lyndon Johnson's wife) dies.
2008- Meteoroid explodes in Earth's atmosphere over the Nubian Desert.
2009- My 19Th Birthday of course.
